Updates!!!

Well, it's been awhile!!!

I have been busy in Jan baking pineapple tarts for CNY, cleaning a bit of house, meeting up some more friends, eating a few more cuisines that I'll never find in Melb, and then spend some quality time at home...

Sent bro off to school the first week of Jan as his school is starting 2nd week of Jan, dad's car's fan broke down right after customs, so we were stranded in Woodlands for a bit till Uncle's driver came and save us haha so chilled at Aunt's house for a bit till everything was up and running and home we went.

Mum initially didn't wake me up (we left early in the morn) to go send bro off but I insisted I'd wanna go cos it'd be a good year before I see him hey so why not spend a few more hours with him and with the broken fan I did get a few more hours with him hahaha!

Other than that have not been doing much and then back to Melb I am!!

Was hot and beautiful so far, loving the weather, hopefully it stays this way for the next few months hahahaha... asking for the impossible right...

Moved to my new place, and working my ass off, so far... have not done anything interesting either besides going to an 80's themed party.... which I actually put an effort into dressing the part though I think I pretty much did not look VERY 80s. Hahaha!!

Will update a bit more when I get a new desk. My current one's a MESS and it's so small and so is my wardrobe I had to get a chest of drawers to accommodate some necessities I actually have an atlas on my current desk and I thought it'd be great to improve on my geography but after placing my laptop and other stuff on it, all I can see is some Indonesia and Australasia.

See Australia in PINK....

Which is too ironic for words. lol...and of course my insatiable craving for fruitips may be satisfied here in Aussieland. : )

Zoukout

Better late than never!

Vern finally met PY and I finally got the pics from her despite her forgetting to bring it out the first 2 times we met up... haha... Here goes..!

Guess the Siloso beach countdown we went a few years ago isn't much different anyway... xD

Fun nonetheless. :)

F&B

Went Dimsum with my parents last week.. at this restaurant called Ah Yat Abalone Restaurant Forum somewhere between Seksyen 14 and 17 LOL not sure which suburb it belongs to. They don't really have a vast selection but they've the nice basics and they actually taste pretty darn good!

And sometime last week as well, Ian and I were at Tmn Bahagia Station waiting to pick Rin up and then guess who did we run into?

Fly FM Road Crew!
We were parked directly behind them LOL

After being persuaded to leave our car and a small crowd gathered around them, lame questions were being thrown around and freebies given out....

Guy 2nd from left is some hardcore flyfm follower who turned back from ss2 when he heard they were in Tmn Bahagia.

Singapore Weekend~

Last Fri I left for Singapore to visit Vern and to attend Zoukout!!!

Had bkt @ JB when dad and his colleagues decided to stop over for breakfast... and then we arrived in Sg around 11am. Super early! Cos we left KL aroun 7am... hahaha... These uncles are early birds man....

So I wandered around Orchard Road myself shopping, grabbed myself an SGD8 SingTel sim card and got a free shoe carrier and foldable umbrella --damn good deal right lol-- and then went to Bugis St to shop for more. Vern was at work so I had to entertain myself right.. and Rin didn't arrive until Saturday.

Was pretty fun travelling around myself not very fun lugging my little luggage bag which got heavier by the hour and my gladiator heels pretty much killed my feet for the day. Lol.

Grabbed sushi at a buffet with Huay Lian as well, nothing much to shout out about the food was just mediocre and service was BAD. Slow, and rude, and dishes that never arrived. -__-

After Vern got back from work we had dinner @ Ion mall's foodcourt, which has the most amazing Tako-yaki! I had a very sucky cendol. lol. Then it was dark, and we headed to Orchard Road to see the Christmas Magic!! Which.. was disappointing in a way.

The decorations were pretty, there were a lot of ... uh, ornaments? and stuff all over, etc etc, plenty of photo-taking ops, but to me it's all quite dry. I think decorations these days can't really match up to what they were years ago. I remember Raffles had huge toy soldiers on TOP of their building, moving slowly from the left to right blowing trumpets silently. And they had HUGE Santa sleights with life-size reindeers (not that I know what's a real reindeer's size but I assume it's like a horse's lol) for kids to take photos in. It was really awesome back then.... lol

Anyhow, here're some shots and most are up on FB.

Yea they love trees... it's all just trees in various colours and sizes with different deco on it. lol.

Hanging out with the girls:

Zoukout pics coming soon... to be hand delivered by Vern from PY... XD Since my cam died on that afternoon itself, sigh.

Anyhow random pics:

And my favourite purchase of the trip.... I hope they make a 'Wah Piang!' one for Vern.

Hehehehe.

Jogging

Been trying to keep up with my regime here, and tag along with some boxing people to Mt Kiara to run. It's a lovely park to exercise, and apparently many others share the same opinion seeing that it's full of people all the time. Including a photography session going on with a failed model. LOL. *mean*

Anyway hun here're some pics to show you how awesome it is =D
